4:42pm

83 - Lewington gets down low to stop an Akpa Akpro shot at his near post.

4:39pm

4:37pm

79 - Norris heads goalwards but it's easy for Jensen.

4:36pm

Procter is back on his feet, complete with Terry Butcher bandage. Just changing his top on the side of the pitch.

4:34pm

76 - SUB - Akpa Akpro on for Platt.

4:33pm

74 - Nardiello jinks one way then the other in the box but can't get a shot off and draws the corner.

4:31pm

72 – SUB – Procter on for Tutte.

4:30pm

72 - The full-back then makes a telling challenge on Norris at the other end.

4:28pm

The Bury goalkeeper is back on his feet but lucky not to be heading for an early bath after looking to foul Azeez as last man. No foul was given.

4:26pm

4:11pm

53 - Jensen bursts out of his goal to clear after an attempted McNulty clearance rebounded into the path of Norris.

4:09pm

The ball is really starting to pull up in the surface water on the pitch. Dire conditions here now but hopefully it won't turn into a farce as Bury are continuing to play well.

4:05pm

4:04pm

46 - SUB - Ilesanmi and Azeez on for D'Ath and Connors.

3:48pm

Bury players are getting a well-earned round of applause for their effort as they leave the pitch.

3:48pm

Bury 0 Dagenham & Redbridge 0

3:47pm

45 - Jones runs inside and tries a left-footed curler from outside the box on the run but fails to get his foot round the ball enough to hit the target.

3:44pm

42 - Lazy shot from Norris skied as he leans back and swings his right leg. Could have caught Bury cold there.

3:43pm

41 - Fantastic one-handed save from Lewington denies Platt from close range following a pull back from Nardiello. Should have broke the net but great reactions from the Daggers keeper to stick out a strong arm.

3:38pm

Jones is really putting a shoft in here. Tireless running and some excellent crosses - just needs one to land cleanly for the strikers.

35 - McNulty puts in a great interception before running down the left toucline and sending in a telling cross.

36 - Nardiello creates some space in the box but his shot is blocked by D'Ath.

36 - McNulty just fails to turn home a Mills flick-on from a Hussey corner, diving for the ball at the back post.

37 - Tutte shot is blocked from a Platt lay-off.

3:34pm

31 - Jones picks out Nardiello from the right but the striker is ruled to pushed his marker as he heads the ball back across goal.

3:31pm

28 - Hoyte makes an important block to cut out a Nardiello pull-back.

29 - Nardiello just fails to get his head on to a great ball from the left from Mayor. Would have been a certain goal.

3:28pm

26 - The ball falls to Ogogo from the corner but the midfielder blazes a good chance wide from eight yards.

3:27pm

26 - Ogogo shot deflected well wide for a Dagenham corner.

3:26pm

25 - Tame free-kick given to Dagenham following a flap from keeper Chris Lewington in the box.

3:25pm

23 - Chambers fires over a wasteful shot with Daggers flooding the Bury box following a great searching bal from Elito to Hoyte.

3:23pm

21 - Scott Doe heads a wicked Jones cross clear despite calls from the Daggers keeper. The defender wisely clears his lines with Nardiello lurking.

3:21pm

20 - Jones loops a header just over following a good deep cross from Hussey.

3:20pm

Both teams showing some good touches and doing their best to keep the ball on the deck, despite puddles of standing water starting to form.

3:17pm

16 - Nardiello slips in between defender and keeper to claim a long ball from Veseli, but he failed to find the target from a tight angle.

3:16pm

The weather, by the way, is pretty poor. Chucking it down and noticeably colder. Proper Northern weather...

3:15pm

Bury have had the majority of the ball in the opening stages, starting the game in a 4-4-2 formation, with Danny Mayor playing on the left rather than as an attacking midfielder and Veseli and Hussey lining up as traditional full-backs.

They can easilyt switch to the usual 3-4-3 at any time, just possibly trying to throw the Daggers management team a bit of a curve ball.

3:10pm

9 - YELLOW - Connors

3:09pm

8 - Clever long ball from Jones almost puts Nardiello clear.

3:07pm

5 - Good work from Danny Mayor on  the left but his cross goes high and long.

3:04pm

Noticeable round of applause for Brian Jensen's first clearance. He went long, despite being dragged off for one too many of those at Southend last week.

3:01pm

2:59pm

Pitch looks to be holding up - just - following another big shower at the JD Stadium. The players are out now for another big game in the end of season run-in. A first win in six matches would do nicely here.

Team news

Bury boss David Flitcroft makes two changes to the side that started Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at Torquay.

Brian Jensen returns in goal in place of teenager Reice Charles-Cook, who drops to the bench.

And Chris Hussey makes his home debut, replacing the injured Tom Soares in the left wing-back role.

The Burton Albion full-back made his first Bury start in last Saturday's 0-0 draw at Southend, but lost his place in midweek following the return of captain Craig Jones.

The only other change to the matchday squad is the return of Andy Procter, who takes a place on the bench following Tommy Miller's failure to regain match fitness after missing the last two games with an ankle knock and thigh strain.

Procter has not featured in the squad for the last four matches and has not started a game since the 4-0 defeat at Chesterfield on January 11.

The central midfielder's last game time came following a 69th-minute introduction in the 1-0 victory over Wycombe on February 1.

2:19pm

Another draw but a much improved performance. However these are the games that we should be winning if we are to have any chance of staying in this league.

We need to start from the off and get in to the faces of opposition.Slow starts rarely yield 3 points and the shakers are guilty of making a slow start in their past few games.

The curse of the manager of the month award might be a factor but in all honesty from here on in it's only going to get even harder for DF to motivate his beleagured squad.

I was expecting to see a reaction from the players to the hugely disappointing performance and result against The Gulls but there was none.

"Cobblers" to our finishing but defensively we are digging in even if some players like to pass the ball backwards ala Rugby in order to get the team moving forward.

The test of a team's resolve is to dig out a result when they need it the most and that team will survive the drop.

Am not sure whether This Bury fc team has the mental strength for a fight for survival, pretty football won't get us where we need to be.

."IT'S A RESULTS BUSINESS and from what i can see 5 wins from 16 games under Flitctoft isn't a much better return than the managers that have lost their jobs at this club this season.

Nice to see The Beast back between the sticks even if it was a below par performance from his team mates.

The winning mentality needs to be restored we can't draw our way to safety.
