In March, we said goodbye to Angela Taylor, Deputy Catering Manager, who retired after 26 years of service to Castlebrook. Angela started at Castlebrook in 1987 as a Welfare Assistant whilst her children, Michelle and Lee, were pupils at the school.
Last year her husband Pete retired and the couple are looking forward to weekends away, travelling, gardening and the wedding of their son later this year.
Mrs Armstrong and some of our learners presented Angela with flowers in the Conference Room and she was very touched by the warm wishes given by staff and learners. After 26 years of loyal service, Angela certainly deserves to hang up her apron! We wish her a very happy and long retirement and thank her for her contribution to Castlebrook over the years.
