RAMSBOTTOM is set to be ‘choc-a-block’ with visitors this weekend as the town’s annual chocolate festival takes place.
The festival will be held across Bridge Street, Market Street, St Paul’s Church and Market Place, with more than 60 stalls selling chocolate themed produce.
New attractions for this year’s event include a family fun area in the gardens of St Paul’s, and an extended al fresco dining area in Silver Street.
There will also be a demonstration from Lancashire Hawks and Owls on Saturday, and a display from food network Made in Lancashire.
The chocolate themed market will be held on Bridge Street from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, and a number of Ramsbottom businesses will have chocolate specials on their menus across the weekend.
On Sunday an artisan farmers market will be held in Market Place, and a duck race organised by Ramsbottom Rotary will take place in the Bridge Street gardens from 1pm.
