A MAN has denied murdering his wife at their home in Radcliffe.
James Bland admitted unlawfully killing Carole Bland, aged 62, on August 1 last year but Mark Kellet, prosecuting, told Liverpool Crown Court that the plea was not accepted by the crown.
Bland, also aged 62, of Bury Road, Radcliffe, was further remanded in custody by Judge Clement Goldstone, QC, the Recorder of Liverpool, to await his trial beginning on February 24.
