The body of missing Michael Holt is believed to have been found in Ramsbottom
A MISSING man has been found dead at a derelict mill.
The body was found hanged at the derelict mill in Rosebank, Ramsbottom, at about 8.45pm last night.
While formal identification is yet to be carried out, police believe the body to be that of the missing 57-year-old Michael Holt, of Bury Road, Edenfield.
He was last seen at about 3pm on Wednesday, April 22, at his home in Edenfield.
Police said there are no suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
Insp John Fryer of Lancashire Police said: “Officers are supporting the family at this difficult time and our thoughts are with them.”
