HEATON Park was touched by magic as Tangled Dance Company presented 'Once Upon A Twisted Tale'.
The magical promenade dance performance was free to the public, thanks to funding from 02 Think Big.
Hundreds of people were captivated as they followed the story through the park, sitting on picnic blankets in the sunshine.
To conclude the story, children interacted, collecting golden threads to break the spell of the poisoned apple and became a part of the story themselves.
Tangled Dance Company is based in Manchester, comprising of four dancers, all trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and three classical musicians.
Amy Eccleston, aged 24, from Prestwich, is the founder and artistic director of the company, and said she created Once Upon A Twisted Tale to bring an exciting contemporary dance performance to the public in outdoor spaces. Plans for 2016 include a tour of halls, gardens and parks in the North West.
