FAMILIES are invited to watch a magical Christmas performance in Heaton Park next month.
Tangled Dance Company will present 'Whispers Of A Christmas Tale' at Heaton Hall throughout December.
Dancers and live classical musicians from the dance company, Crumpsall Concert Band, Blackley Band, Oldham College and Pendleton College will act out the story of a young girl, Martha, who will shred rags for riches.
Based in Manchester, Tangled Dance Company’s founder and artistic director, Amy Eccleston, aged 24, said: “Heaton Park is the people’s park and I have created this performance to include local community bands and students alongside the professional cast; presented by the people for the people.
“As a company we are committed to making the arts accessible to all.”
Performances, which will last about 40 minutes, will take place at 1pm and 3pm on December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20.
Tickets will cost £7 for adults and £5 for children, which can be purchased at The Stables Cafe in the Farm Centre, or online at Skiddle.com
