A TOTAL of 38 people were arrested at the Parklife festival, police said.
More than 70,000 people gathered each day at Heaton Park on Saturday and Sunday for the event.
The arrests — over the two days — included theft and possession of drugs with intent to supply.
The 26-year-old woman, Rebecca Dacre, reported missing from the festival on Saturday was thankfully found safe and well on Sunday.
Superintendent Graeme Openshaw, of GMP’s Force Events Section, said: “Once again, it was great to welcome everyone to Manchester.
“I am pleased to say that the event went well and the majority of people who attended enjoyed a safe and memorable time, thanks to the great work from our officers and colleagues at Parklife, Manchester City Council, Bury Council, North West Ambulance Service, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, NHS Manchester and Transport for Greater Manchester.
“Considering there were more than 70,000 people going into the park each day, there was a relatively small number of arrests and I would like to thank everyone who took part in planning and everyone who attended for making it an enjoyable event.”
