THE Christmas shopping season is underway and Saturday brings a great chance to grab some stocking fillers while helping a good cause.
Prestwich Parents' Group is holding an autumn fair in aid of Home-Start Bury and Syria Relief at St. Margaret’s Church Hall, St Margaret's Road, Prestwich, from 11am to 5pm on Saturday.
There will be a raffle with prizes include a food hamper, a family photography session, baby massage classes and yoga classes.
There will also be stalls selling cakes and children’s books and toys as well as festive crafts to buy and make.
Home-Start Bury scheme manager Kate Brookes said: "We are delighted to be one of the chosen charities for this years autumn fair.
"It's so rewarding to be working directly with parents and the community.
"Any funds we receive will be spent directly on the families we support"
