LET there be light!
A splash of colour was added to a cold weekend as the annual light festival got under way in Bury.
Entitled Transition, the festival brought a kaleidoscope of colour, with events starting on Friday.
Those who braved the cold on Friday evening enjoyed the atmospheric music of the Sacred Sounds Women’s Choir on the side of the Castle Armoury, complemented with a spectacular light show — designed especially for the set.
Warmth could be found inside Bury Art Gallery which had a number of events designed for families included live music by OLA, One Little Atlas.
The popular event finished with The Dragon of Unsworth making a special appearance.
