BURY College apprentice Tom Hannon has been part of an exciting development to turn a car dealership into a veterinary practice.
Tom, aged 21, is completing the Level 2 Site Carpentry apprenticeship with H.H. Smith & Sons Co. Ltd. The Vets4Pets surgery on Bury Old Road, Whitefield, has replaced the Mercedes-Benz garage and is a high quality modern practice.
The former Failsworth High School said: “I have really enjoyed working on this project and seeing the transformation from start to finish.
"I am glad I chose to complete an apprenticeship as I wanted to get a trade behind me and I like the fact that I am gaining qualifications whilst working.”
David Smith of MD of H.H. Smith & Sons Co, said he was delighted with his apprentices.
