A WHEELIE bin fire in Clarence Park could be part of a pattern.
Crew manager Saul Hickey said there had been a number of similar incidents in the area recently.
The crew were called to the skate park at around 11.30pm to put out a green bin which had been set alight.
Crew manager Hickey, said: "Some youths had been drinking in the area and decided to set fire to a green recycling wheelie bin on one of the skate ramps. "
He said the fire service had been called to the incident by a separate group of youths who had seen the blaze.
He added: "We would encourage people to store away their bins where they wouldn't be easily available for people to steal."
The crew dealt with the fire in around 15 minutes.
