TWO teachers have resigned after allegations that they were witnessed by a pupil during an inappropriate liaison in a classroom.
It is claimed that a teacher and father-of-three from Bury had the liaison with a married colleague at Haslingden High School.
Mark Jackson, Headteacher at Haslingden High School, said: "I can confirm that two members of staff have resigned. It would be inappropriate for me to comment further about this matter.
"We will continue to focus on providing an excellent education for our students and will shortly commence the recruitment process to fill the positions."
