THE family of a man who was found dead after being missing for ten days have paid tribute to him.
Lee Hall, aged 45, was found hanged at lunchtime on Saturday.
Nathan Cryer, who is married to Mr Hall’s sister, Cara, said: “He was a top lad. He’d do anything to help anyone and he had a great sense of humour.”
Mr Hall’s nephew, Wesley Semeniuk, added: “He was really family-orientated. We are all devastated.”
Mr Hall's body was found by Mr John Womack, 39, of Duke Street, on an area of overgrown land at the rear of Duke Street, Radcliffe.
A shocked Mr Womack said: “My dog, Sam, had got into the backings and so I went to find him. He stopped suddenly and began barking and that’s when I saw the body.”
Mr Hall was a self-employed builder and lived in Queen Street, Radcliffe.
At one time, Mr Womack was a neighbour of Mr Hall’s and he said of him: “He was kind and always happy to help.”
Mr Cryer said: “I last saw him on the Wednesday and he was in an emotional state. No-one saw him from Thursday and the police had been looking for him”
Police and a fire crew from Whitefield attended the scene.
