A CARAVAN was "totally destroyed" by a fire in Radcliffe this morning.
Fire crews from Whitefield and Farnworth fire stations were called to the incident at around 4am.
The blaze broke out in alley behind homes in Robertson Street.
A nearby shed and some shrubbery also caught fire.
Two hose reels and a ladder were used to put out the fire.
Police are investigating the incident which was deemed to be suspicious.
Farnworth fire station watch manager Steve Coote said there were no injuries as far as he is aware.
He said: "It's always advisable to have a working smoke alarm installed properly."
