A WOMAN was taken to hospital after police officers found her unresponsive.
Police on patrol in Bury discovered a woman who was unresponsive and vomiting as a result of hypothermia.
Officers called for an ambulance to attend Moss Street, near Bury Fusilier Museum, at about 4am today.
The woman was conscious and breathing. Officers ensured she was warm and comforted her until paramedics arrived.
She was taken to hospital for further treatment.
