RUSH hour commuters are facing lengthy delays after a lorry carrying a digger crashed into a motorway bridge.
Two lanes are closed and traffic is queuing due to debris on the road after the vehicle struck the bridge on the M62 westbound from junction 12 M602.M60, Eccles Interchange.

Highways England are warning of severe delays and urging drivers to plan ahead
Bridge inspector has confirmed the bridge is safe following a collision #M62 #GreaterManchester westbound btwn J12 (#M60 #M602) and J11 #Risley #Birchwood.
