SUPERJOSH founder Dawn Fidler brings you her latest blog

With Spring just around the corner, we are busy in preparation for a fun-filled Easter Fair in partnership with the very kind folk at Bury Football Club.

The fair will have Easter gifts, decorations and arts and crafts stalls to browse as well as face painting and tons of fun Easter-themed activities for the kids.

The event is free for admission and just £10 for any stall holders on the day. To book your stall head to joshwilson.org.uk/shop

We are very pleased to report that Ethan, who is this week celebrating his 16th birthday, his mum Claire and his guide dog Chaz are loving their new garden. A big thanks to Aaron /Woodhouse Landscaping /property maintenance for completing the work and also to Financial Options Group for funding the project.

Ethan, 16, lives in Denton, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2008 and due to this has almost lost his sight.

Ethan is supported by his four-legged friend, guide dog Chaz. Ethan loves to be outside but has struggled to be able to do this in his own garden. Ethan and Claire’s garden, before the makeover, was on different levels with no special handrails or supports to make it safe for Ethan to spend time in it.

The flag stones that made up the garden space were wobbly and uneven.

We knew that making this space more user friendly for Ethan, Chas and Claire would mean a better quality of life for the whole family. This is why we joined forces with Aaron, his team and Financial Options Group and agreed to make a BIG difference to this family’s home!

Providing what a family needs during stressful and traumatic times is what we are all about here at Team SuperJosh. Read Ethan’s full story at joshwilson.org.uk
