SEVERAL businesses have been evacuated while fire crews tackle a blaze at The Rock.
Crews were called to the shopping centre at about 10am this morning. It is understood the fire broke out at the Rochdale Road side of the precinct.

Police are also at the scene helping to direct traffic in the area.
Barclays Bank, the Racconto Lounge, JD Sports and several other shops have been evacuated.
Grace Grieve, from Ramsbottom, was working at Racconto Lounge when the fire broke out.
Mrs Grieve, aged 42, said: "We were told to evacuate.
"There were about 50 members of staff from various businesses outside.
"We think the fire was at The Chinese Buffet. It was in that vicinity.
"Someone next to me said they had seen flames coming out of the top of a building. I heard a number of people say that.
"I am very shocked and upset for the people of Bury, and I hope everyone is okay."
Another resident reported seeing five fire engines and two ambulances at the centre.
Bury Council said that the fire is under control but the cause is unknown. They said the road is currently closed for safety.

Several buses are being diverted away from the area. Transport for Greater Manchester said that Angouleme Way is closed between Derby Way and Spring Street.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We currently have four fire engines at the scene.
"We are using six breathing apparatus and one hose reel."
