A FIRE-HIT football club has organised its first fundraising event as it looks to rebuild.
AFC Dobbies Sports Junior Football Club in Radcliffe had to be bulldozed after a blaze at its clubhouse in January this year.
Two months on, the club has planned an event to fundraise for new changing rooms, a kitchen and storage provision at the Stand Memorial Ground.
Male vocal harmony trio The Livertones will perform at the event at Dobbies Sports and Social Club in Bradley Fold Road on Friday, March 22.
Comedian Johnny Corrigan will also entertain the audience.
Tickets, at £10 including a pastie and peas supper, are available on the door.
