AMBULANCES have been attacked three times last month.
North West Ambulance Service is appealing to youths to stop before someone is seriously hurt.
In one case a side window was shattered when a bottle was thrown, later stones were thrown at an ambulance carrying a sick child and on Wednesday stones were thrown, chipping the windscreen of an ambulance on its way to a patient in a life-threatening condition.
Director of operations, Ged Blezard comments: “I was absolutely lost for words when I heard of these incidents."
