HUGE support was shown to a Bury charity as the town turned red to raise awareness about Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS).
Annabelle's Challenge hosted their annual social media campaign REDS4VEDS, encouraging people to wear red and post a photo online.
This year's campaign reached more than 153,000 people on social media and also gained support from Manchester United player Jesse Lingard who shared REDS4VEDS on Instagram with his 6.3 million followers.
So far, this year's campaign running total stands at more than £2,000 with funds still being added and fundraising still taking place until tomorrow.
Charity co-founder Jared Griffin said: "The traction of REDS4VEDS continues to grow globally and it has been our best so far in the four years since we started the campaign to help raise awareness of vascular EDS. Thank you so much for your support."
Residents are invited to save the date for the next campaign on Friday, May 15, 2020.
