A FEAST of family fun filled the streets of Prestwich this weekend for the annual carnival.
Sunshine bathed the 95th incarnation of the community celebration which returned to St Mary’s Park for a two day jamboree.
A spectacular funfair rolled into town on Saturday boasting traditional rides and a Carousel through to state-of-the-art attractions.
Today, a Big Day celebration of the community was held, culminating with a Grand Parade featuring 28 floats.
After the parade an afternoon of entertainment was held in the park, including headline show from a leading Michael Jackson tribute act.
There were also performances from dance and theatre groups, as well as up and coming artists and cover bands; plus plenty of free activities, stalls and a dog show.
