SCHOOL pupils were let loose to work their artistic magic on the side of several full size Range Rovers.
More than 100 budding artists from Wesley Methodist Primary School in Radcliffe, Hazlehurst Community Primary School in Ramsbottom and Fir Bank Primary School in Royton, Oldham, decorated the 4x4s at cartime's centre in Bell Lane, Bury.
The three schools went head-to-head as part of a competition to win £500 worth of art equipment for their school.
“The entries look fantastic and the vehicles certainly raised some eyebrows", said cartime managing director, Matt Kay.
"Our new specialist 4x4 showroom has recently opened and we wanted to do something memorable in the local community to celebrate our launch.
"We were inspired by the ethos of Children’s Art Week, which encourages children and young people to enjoy fun creative activities that they might not have tried before. We certainly hope none of the participants have ever drawn on a car’s exterior before."
The winning entry in the cARTime contest will be chosen by a public vote via cartime's Facebook page.
The public vote will run until midnight on July 21, with the winning school announced on July 24.
