MANCHESTER City FC veterans will take part in an upcoming charity football match against local Radcliffe coaches.

Taking place at the Neuven Stadium, the match has been organised to help raise vital funds for Bury Hospice.

It will see several Radcliffe coaches and managers step up to play against Manchester City veterans.

The game on Sunday, July 28, will feature the likes of Scottish former professional footballer Paul Dickov, who played as a forward from 1990 to 2011, starting his career with Arsenal and moving to Manchester City in 1996.

Scottish football player and coach Colin Hendry, who played as a defender, and spent spells at Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, Rangers, Coventry City, Bolton Wanderers and Blackpool, will also star in the game.

They will be on a team that goes head-to-head against local coaches including the current manager of Radcliffe FC, Jon Macken.

Kick off will be at 1.30pm. Tickets cost £3 for adults and £1 for children. Parking is £1. Pay on the day.
