A FIRE crew was deployed to Bury town centre after a blaze spread to a BT cabinet.
A cardboard box was alight at the rear of the electrical box in Minden Parade. The fire spread to the inside of the cabinet, causing minor internal damage.
It is believed the fire was accidental.
Firefighters from Bury were called to the incident at about 10.45am yesterday.
Crews then notified BT and waited for an engineer to attend.
