A NEW outdoor games area could be built at a primary school in Brandlesholme.
Plans have been unveiled for an all-weather sports pitch at Old Hall Primary School in Springside View.
Applicant, headteacher Deborah Ainscoe, has submitted plans to Bury Council for the 18m by 10m pitch, which would be made from artificial grass, and located on the existing school field.
It would be enclosed by a 2m-high green metal fence.
A design and access statement reads that the space would only be used by one class at a time, and is solely for school use, during school opening hours.
A consultation is open until October 14.
