A NEW coffee bar is set to open in Prestwich.
The Hideaway Coffee Bar will open its doors in Bury New Road on December 18, at the former LA Chicken shop, and will be selling a host of food and hot drinks.
It also has a licence and will offer a range of wines, Prosecco and beers.
The outlet is a family run business and has teamed up with a nearby bakers and butchers shops to source its homemade menu.
This will include breakfasts, cakes, cookies, pastries sandwiches, paninis, serving boards and soups made with seasonal produce.
Steven Monks, manager at The Hideaway, said the coffee bar aims to “take traditional recipes and put our own modern twist on them”, adding: “For our coffee we have teamed up with Beanmachines who are award winning suppliers of coffee machines and roasted coffee beans.
“All of our equipment has been purchased through them, and we have worked closely together to chose the best possible coffee beans.”
A grand opening ceremony will be held at The Hideaway next Wednesday where they will be serving homemade mince pies and mulled wine to customers.
