THE body of a man in his 20s has been found at a house in Radcliffe.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the property in Coomassie Street, just outside Radcliffe town centre, at around 2.20pm on Tuesday.

Following investigations, a Greater Manchester Police spokesman confirmed that the body of man was found inside one of the homes on the residential street.

However, the death is not being treated as suspicious, the spokesman added.

A file will now be prepared for the coroner.

The North West Ambulance Service also attended the property, confirming that they sent an ambulance to the scene.

An NWAS spokesman added that no one was taken to hospital.

In a statement a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Police were called at 2.21pm on Tuesday December 17, 2019, to a report of concern for the welfare of a man at an address on Coomassie Street, Radcliffe.

"Officers attended and found the body of man believed to be in his 20s.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be passed to the coroner."
