A HOT food takeaway unit has been converted into a taxi booking office.
A retrospective application has been submitted to Bury Council after a group-floor premises in Bolton Road, opposite Lidl, changed use.
Magnum Whiteline Ltd, which already operates out of the unit above the former Chicken Cottage takeaway, has expanded downstairs.
Owner Shoaib Akhtar has created an office, waiting room, kitchen and downstairs toilet in the unit. The offices provide a 24-hour service, seven days a week, including Bank Holidays.
