FORMER head coach of the England netball team Tracey Neville has taken to Twitter to post pictures of her baby boy.

Nev Geoffrey Timmins was born two days ago at Lancashire Women and Newborn Centre.

And the retired netball player from Bury, took to the social media site this evening to share the news with her 30,000 plus followers and release pictures of the little one dressed in a white baby grow bearing the word Baby Nev - named after his late grandad Neville Neville.

She wrote: "Our Rainbow, our little boy ‘Nev Geoffrey Timmins’ was born on 03/03/20. Thank u for the Heart suit&support I have received. To Lancashire Newborn Centre,u were exceptional in ure care and 2 the special people,consultants, midwifes &health care workers who looked after me."

Scores of people have posted messages of congratulations. 

Emma Davies, wife of former Wanderers player Kevin Davies, posted: "Congratulations, he is beautiful. Love the name too x"

Sky Sports and BBC Sports also shared the Tweet and congratulated Tracey.

Tracey Neville, who was recognised for her professional achievements with a honorary doctorate from the University of Bolton, stepped down as England head coach after overseeing their third-place finish at the World Cup in July, led the Roses to their first major title in 2018 as they edged out hosts Australia 52-51 in a dramatic final.
