ONE of Bury's landmark buildings is up for grabs following the collapse of a nursery and play centre.
The former post office in Crompton Street had been home to the Go Wild nursery until earlier this year.
But since it was confirmed the venture had shut up shop, estate agents Nolan Redshaw have been marketing the red-brick property.
And the location, where the accommodation is spread over three floors, is already said to be 'under offer'.
It was confirmed that Go Wild would not be reopening when a notice was placed in the front door for parents.
Administrators were called in by the Epoch Nursery Group, which ran the operation and it emerged, through a report on their trading affairs, that the firm owed more than £213,000 to creditors.
This included employee claims of more than £23,000 and more than £15,000 being owed to various departments at Bury Council. But the bulk of the outstanding funds was due to the NatWest Bank.
And the sole director, Pourya Kaveh, from Prestwich, had a £40,000 claim in the administration.
