A FINANCIAL advisor has been sent for crown court trial over an alleged £500,000 fraud.
Christopher Summers, 59, has been accused of not acting in the best interests of Margery Parkinson between dates in August 2016 and April 2019.
Summers, formerly of Longsight Road, Ramsbottom, but now of Walmsley Road, Bury, is also charged with two further offences of fraud by false representation.
The first allegation centres on a loan sought to buy a share in Howards Financial Advisors.
And the second relates to seeking a loan from another alleged victim, Manchester magistrates were told.
Summers has not entered pleas to the three charges and was remanded on bail by magistrates to attend a plea and trial preparation hearing at Minshull Street Crown Court on November 18.
