A BURY man has been charged following a burglary at a bakery in Runcorn.
Michael Farrer, 35, of Lydgate Walk, Whitefield, Bury, was arrested in the Bury area at around 10.45pm on Wednesday, August 12 last year.
He has now been charged with burglary.
The charge relates to an incident at a Poundbakery store in Church Street, Runcorn. It occurred between 5pm on Saturday, February 1 and 9.30am on Sunday, February 2.
Cash was stolen from a safe inside the premises after the bakery was broken into via the roof overnight.
Farrer was issued with a postal requisition ordering him to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 12.
He was released from the court on unconditional bail and is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday, February 9.
