A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Radcliffe this afternoon.
Police were sent to Radcliffe New Road following a collision between a car and a pedestrian at around 4.15pm.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital but her injuries are not believed to be "life-threatening".
The driver stayed at the scene.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "We were called at around 4.15pm to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Radcliffe New Road, Radcliffe.
"The driver remained at the scene.
"The pedestrian - a woman - has been taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening."
