A MAJOR incident has been declared tonight after a property collapsed in Summerseat.
Emergency services are currently at East View and nearby properties are believed to have been evacuated.
It is understood two people have been taken to hospital, the nature of their injuries are not known.
It comes as residents heard an explosion in the area.

Police, fire and ambulance are currently at the scene and basing themselves at Summerseat Garden Centre. There is a large emergency service presence on East View.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We have three fire engines and two technical response teams on the scene.
The gas abs electricity board were called out. Emergency services are set to be in scene throughout the night.

"We were called at 9.2opm to a collapse of property. Surrounding properties have been evacuated.
"It it too early to say what the cause is at this stage."
Leader of Bury Council Eammonn O'Brien said:"Just left the scene at East View in Summerseat, following the emergency incident earlier this evening.
My thoughts are with all those affected.
The Council and emergency services are currently supporting residents. The community response has been incredible as always. Thank you."
