ICONIC Whitefield business Slattery Patissier & Chocolatier's has made it clear that rumours it has closed are not true.
The popular Bury New Road establishment revealed it has received a few calls from people to check if it is correct that it is closing.
In response, the firm has taken to social media to make it known loud and clear that it is open for business, with hopes for its dining room to welcome customers again on Wednesday, May 19.
A Slattery spokesman said: "We've received a few phone calls to check if the rumour is true and we are closing down!
"We are not closing down!
"Our shop is open! We are taking orders for cakes!
"Our teaching school is open!
"Our dining room is hopefully reopening on Wednesday, May 19!
"We are proud to have survived a very difficult time and can't wait for more 'normal' business to resume in a couple of weeks time."
