MAGISTRATES have banned three motorists from the road recently after they were caught drink driving.

A MOTORWAY driver who had drunk more than double the legal level of alcohol has been banned from holding a licence for 22 months.

Manchester magistrates heard how Jaydeep Dahiya, aged 36, of Pine Avenue, Whitefield, was caught committing the offence whilst driving a Hyundai on the M60 near junction 13 on April 24.

Dahiya pleaded guilty and, in addition to the driving ban, was fined £923 plus £177 in costs and charges.

MAGISTRATES have banned a man from the roads for 18 months after he was caught drink driving in a Range Rover on May 8.

At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Craig Attoh, aged 39, of Water Lane, Ramsbottom, was fined £461 plus £131 in costs and charges after ha admitted committing the offence when driving the vehicle on Middleton Road, Manchester.

A DRINK driver has been banned from the roads for 12 months.

Thomas Gibson, aged 27, of Breeze Mount, Prestwich, admitted drink-driving in a Mitsubishi L200 Warrior on Heywood Road, Prestwich, on May 2.

He was fined £300 plus £119 in costs and charges.
