THE latest lucky winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw is Sandra Willan, who bought her ticket via Bury Athletics Club and works for Meals on Wheels.

Meals on Wheels are available seven days a week, 365 days a year. They deliver hot lunches, frozen weekly deliveries and a provide a home shopping service.

Sandra explained that the business also ensures that the recipient has the correct cutlery, and Meals of Wheels will make users cups of tea, turn over the TV if required and generally make sure that the person is comfortable.

Sandra has worked for Meals on Wheels for seven and a half years and was very passionate when describing her job.

Sandra received the call from the Weekly Draw bosses while she was out helping her mother buy a garden bench – which soon changed to Sandra buying her the bench herself when she realised that she was a whopping £2,000 richer.

Sandra also plans to treat her children, who have both been poorly recently.

The Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw is a not-for-profit initiative with funds raised from the draw supporting start-up businesses in Bury with training and interest free loans.

There are only 2,400 tickets available and for just £2 per ticket per week, you have a chance to win £2,000 every Wednesday.

If you do not use online banking - We can set up the monthly payment for you via direct debit. Please email weeklydraw@madeinbury.co.uk with the following information: name of account holder, account number, sort code, home address, email address and telephone number. Once we have this information, we can get your ticket/s set up for you.
