How does Bury Council expect our civic halls to survive without catering and beverage facilities? Next year they will be running at bigger losses.
If run properly our civic halls could be thriving businesses. They are ideal wedding venues and great for holding party/cabaret nights like the other venues do all the year round in Bury.
These party nights are full everywhere and it’s a missed business opportunity with ideal venues.
It’s no wonder they make a loss as they aren’t run properly like a business should be.
People who had weddings booked have been given their money back and told to book elsewhere because they are no longer doing weddings. This is a ridiculous waste of tax payers’ money.
They wouldn’t run their own businesses into the ground so don’t do it with ours! Bury Council needs to stop wasting our money and run things properly or franchise the civic halls out for someone to do a decent job.
FRUSTRATED
