A POST office in Bury is set to be relocated - but not too far away.
Proposals have been confirmed for the switch by Bury Post Office, currently based at 79 The Rock.
The branch will close on Tuesday, September 14, says the Post Office. And it will reopen again in its new home on Thursday, September 23, at 90 The Rock.
The opening hours will remain unchanged. Currently they are Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm and Saturdays 9am to 2pm.
The new branch will feature disabled parking available nearby and pay and display car parking. Services will be given from three serving positions - one full-screened and two open-plan.
In the interim, customers can use Chesham Post Office in Walmersley Road or Huntley Brook Post Office, in Bell Lane.
