POLICE are appealing for help tracing an elderly woman with dementia from Bury who has gone missing.
Barbara Mather, 76, from Whitefield, was last seen on Saddlecote Close in Crumpsall at around midday today (Wednesday August 18).
She suffers with dementia and may be confused, according to Greater Manchester Police.
She does not have money or access to a mobile phone and she is not familiar with the area, it is understood.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Barbara and want to make sure she is safe and well."
They are now asking anyone who sees or who may have information about her whereabouts to contact them immediately.
Barbara is white and around 5ft 4in tall with shoulder-length grey hair, and was last seen wearing a blue rain jacket.
