A Prestwich man has had his TVs, stereos and speakers seized after continually disturbing his neighbours.
The man was given several warnings and failed to comply with a noise abatement notice to prohibit him from playing his stereo too loudly.
Bury Council environmental health officers said that the disturbance was frequent and occurred late in the evening and at night.
Cllr Alan Quinn, cabinet member for the environment, climate change and operations, said: "People have a right to live in peace in their own homes and not be disturbed by their neighbours.
"We will continue to take action against those who ignore all the warnings and persist in causing a nuisance."
Officers got a warrant to enter his home and seize any noise-making equipment.
