Police are cracking down on drug dealing in Radcliffe.
Extra patrols have been deployed to housing estates in and around Coronation Road and Turks Road.
Officers say they will be patrolling during the evenings.
The high profile policing strategy comes after complaints of drug dealing in those areas.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Your Neighbourhood Team has been out patrolling these crime hotspots at key times in the evening this week.
"We will continue to patrol these areas throughout the week and into the coming winter.
"If you see one of our vehicles in the area, feel free to say hello and raise your local concerns to a member of our team."
This follows from the police announcement of Operation Heartbeat, an initiative launched in Bury town centre aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour.
To report anti-social behaviour contact Greater Manchester Police on 101, or the independent charity, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
