A PRESTWICH mum has walked 10km in aid of the Prevent Breast Cancer charity.
Last year Francine Goldman, who co-runs Howard’s Way, a travel agency, with her husband, Howard, survived breast cancer.
Now she dedicates her time to raising money for Prevent Breast Cancer, a charity founded by the surgeon who treated her for the disease.
The walk saw Francine and 18 other women and their dogs walk around Heaton Park.
Francine said: “I’m so happy that we’ve raised so much money because it’s going to help a lot of people and its very significant to me. I was terrified when I was diagnosed but I want others to know that you’re not alone and you can still keep yourself active.”
