A couple of weeks ago in our Looking Back feature we had a photograph of work beginning on the new Bury Interchange.
Now we’ve got a photo which shows work on the road/rail interchange nearing completion in January 1980.
The interchange was due to open later that year when trains to Manchester would use the new station rather than Bolton Street.
