THERE will be no trams running between Bury and Whitefield today (Sunday 10) due to engineering works taking place on the line.
The line is expected to be running as usual tomorrow, but replacement bus services will be put on to get people between the two today.
A statement from Transport for Greater Manchester said: “On Sunday 10 April, planned engineering works will take place on the Bury Line.
“As a result of these works, trams will not run between Bury and Whitefield.
“A replacement bus service will operate along the affected route, between Bury and Whitefield.”
There are various other buses that people can use to travel between Bury and Whitefield, however these services will not accept Metrolink tickets.

Bus from Bury towards Victoria
- The 524 bus will depart from Stand O.
- The 135 bus will depart from Stand T.
- The 97 bus will depart from Stand L.
