EMERGENCY services have reported that one person has been taken to hospital after a crash on the M60 this morning.

Responders from Eccles Fire Station arrived at the scene at around 12.10 last night after a crash between a car and a lorry. 

The crash took place on the M60 at junction 15 just after midnight last night.

Traffic on the road was stopped clockwise between Junction 13 and Junction 15 near Manchester.

One person was reportedly taken to hosptial.

Emergency services were in attendence for around one and a half hours and roads were later reopened.

Northwest Motorway Police were also called to the scene. 

National Highways North West have confirmed that all lanes are now reopened the scene is now clear. 

North West Ambulance Service and North West Motorway Police have been contacted for comment.
