YOUNG musicians from a leading school will be performing at Bury Parish Church tomorrow.
Junior performers from Chetham School of Music will feature in the regular lunchtime recital from 12.30pm at The Rock church.
A spokesman said: "This week we welcome students from Chetham’s School of Music, who will play a cross-section of their repertoire.
"The students are accompanied by Elena Nalimova, staff pianist at Chetham’s.
"Chethams is the UK’s leading specialist music school – who provide an academic and musical education to more than 300 of the finest young musicians in the UK."
Dr Nalimova trained at the St. Petersburg State Conservatoire and has won several solo and accompaniment international prizes.
She has also undertaken many masterclasses with distinguished artistes such as Natan Perelman, Dmitri Bashkirov and Dmitry Alexseev, and performed at leading concert venues across the UK and Russia.
Tickets for the recital are £5 and are available on the door. Refreshments are on sale in the church from 11.30am.
