A MOPED rider caught using a cycle path has been convicted of careless driving.
At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Luke Clynes, aged 23, of Woodhill Road, Bury, admitted riding the moped carelessly on the cycle path between Marsden Street and Chamberhall Street, Bury on November 1 last year.
He also had no licence or insurance for the vehicle.
Clynes was fined £125 plus £199 in costs and charges and six points were added to his driving record.
